Marlowe & Finch make engagement rings and heirloom pieces by hand in a workshop above their Lanes shopfront, and for years the only people who knew were the ones who’d walked past. The brand had beautiful product and almost no presence online. We took over their Instagram and Pinterest, built a content engine around the bench and the makers, and introduced the rings to a new generation of couples who do their research on their phones.

Beth met the founders over a cup of tea in the workshop and the brief wrote itself: show people how the rings are made, by whom, and why that matters when you’re spending a month’s salary on something you’ll wear for fifty years. They wanted enquiries for bespoke commissions, not just likes, and they wanted the feed to feel like them, quiet and confident rather than showroom-shiny.

We set up a monthly shoot day at the bench with Amara directing and the goldsmiths doing what they always do. Macro video of stones being set, hands at the polishing wheel, the moment a finished ring goes into its box. We paired that with a proposal-story series where real customers told us how the question was asked. Pinterest got a dedicated strategy of its own, since that’s where couples plan long before they buy.

The making-of Reels found an audience fast and the saves told us people were bookmarking rings to show partners later. Within a year the account passed 48,000 followers without a penny of paid support, bespoke enquiries doubled and then some, and the shop started hearing “I saw you on Instagram” at the counter every week. We now manage a small group of jewellery-loving creators on their behalf too.

We were nervous about putting the workshop on camera. Lido made it feel natural, never staged, and the enquiries that came through were from exactly the kind of couples we want to make rings for.
